We stock a range window frame fixing screws to fit windows securely by either direct masonry concrete screws & nylon plugged window screws.
How to fit Upvc windows & doors quickly and securely into brick & concrete?
Upvc frames should be pre-drilled & countersunk
Fixings for Upvc windows should penetrate at least 40mm into masonry and for Upvc doors 50mm penetration is recommended.
Windows fixed into wooden frames, should penetrate at least 25mm
There should be a minimum of 2 fixings per jam, with intermediary fixings being of no more than 600mm centres & installed 90 degrees to the frame & the fixings packed to stop frame twist
